On a perfect sunny day in June, we had the honor of capturing this stunning editorial at the breathtaking Chateau de Champlatreux just outside of Paris. The historic mansion is everything you could dream of for a French countryside wedding. Dripping in ornate architecture, and surrounded by a field of wildflowers, there couldn’t possibly be anything more romantic.
The design for Rose and Oliver played off of the most romantic colors of the mansion. The blue dinner room with white detailing set the stage for the perfect summer color palette with pink peonies and rich fuchsia double tulips. Oliver’s mauve tux complimented the romance of the design, and reiterated the commitment to fashion for the couple’s attire. Rose’s Pronovias ball gown was perfect. The off the shoulder silhouette was devastatingly romantic, and the sleek satin fabric was minimal elegance at its finest.
Anyone dreaming of a French countryside wedding couldn’t ask for a more perfect venue. The chateau is filled with unique rooms and spaces, and the grounds are breathtaking with so many places for perfect portraits. And at 30-45 minutes outside of Paris, there couldn’t be a more ideal location for a stunning French soiree. I cannot wait to return to France this summer, and I will be dreaming of this day for as long as I live.
