A love letter to Nicole and Chase:
We met Nicole and Chase in 2022, when they were living in Philadelphia and celebrating their recent engagement. We had the absolute joy of taking their engagement photos, and we knew from chatting with them at the time that they likely wouldn’t be in Philly for too much longer since Nicole was in medical school and was about to go through the match program. We loved every minute of meeting these joyful souls, and even celebrated with their adorable pups on the Art Museum steps.
We were beyond thrilled when I received an email from them over a year later, finding out that they had moved to Boston for Nicole’s residency, and were planning a wedding in Chase’s home state, Rhode Island. It was such an honor that they asked us to travel to Rhode Island to capture their wedding day.
It’s difficult to even capture the joy of their day in words. Nicole and Chase love each other so well, and they radiate soulmate energy in every moment. But there was also so much joy from their loved ones. Their wedding party spent the day gushing about how much they loved Nicole and Chase as individuals, and as a couple. The day flowed–it was easy and filled with immense happiness.
Nicole and Chase wrote heartfelt letters to every single guest, expressing their gratitude for everyone’s presence and support in their lives. You can imagine the tears I cried upon realizing our names were on the board, and that Nicole and Chase had written us a letter, as well. But that is who Nicole and Chase are–they love everyone around them genuinely and thoughtfully.
The day was filled with perfect moments–from portraits by the water and on a boat, and toasting with loved ones in a tent on the harbor. But what I will always remember most about the day is the warmth and the joy. Nicole and Chase, we love you both so much. What an honor to have been a small part of your beautiful, beautiful story.
