You know we’re big fans of all love stories over here, but we have a definite soft spot for (fellow) high school sweethearts. These two have been inseparable since high school, and their love for each other is absolutely adorable.
Julie told me that when she was a sophomore, she was the manager for the high school baseball team that Ryan was playing on. After a while of getting to know each other (and some definite flirting), she texted him on his birthday “Happy Birthday, Hot Stuff” and the rest is absolute history.
Ryan surprised Julie by proposing last summer in Washington Square Park, and then planning dinner after with their families. He then whisked her away to the shore for the weekend to celebrate, and can we just say that her ring is absolutely stunning?
Ryan and Julie have been living in Philly for the past 4 years, so we wanted to do a very Philly engagement shoot. We started at Cherry Street Pier and Race Street Pier, before making our way through Old City to Elfreth’s Alley, and then onto the Ben Franklin Bridge. I have to say, this was my first couple to request the Ben as an engagement shoot location, and it’s now my favorite ever. Can you even with those city views??
Julie and Ryan, you are two of the sweetest people we have ever met. Your joy is contagious, and your love and care for each other is so apparent in every photo. We cannot wait to be part of your magical wedding day next summer at Pen Ryn Mansion!
