Kelly and Bill are just the most fun. From their engagement session to their wedding, every moment we spent with them was filled with laughter and sunshine. Their love for each other is so evident, and their wedding day was filled with clinking glasses, dancing, and cheeks hurting from smiling.
Kelly and Bill chose Hotel Du Pont because they wanted to host their guests for a full wedding weekend. The venue is stunning–the formal ballroom is old-world glamour at its best, and demands exceptional fashion from the guests. The hotel also offers beautiful suites and spaces for both the bride and groom to get ready, and guests love the ability to stay in gorgeous accommodations for the weekend.
The day began beautifully and peacefully, as Kelly stepped into her gorgeous gown, and the bride and groom exchanged tearful letters from each other before meeting for a first look on the grand staircase. We were lucky enough to have a gorgeous November day, so the wedding party met in the nearby Rodney Square to take advantage of the beautiful sunlight. Kelly and Bill spent the day together, and prioritized meaningful moments with each other and those they love most.
This black-tie affair was filled with so much joy. We loved every moment of celebrating with these two lovely humans, and documenting all of the love was a gift we won’t soon forget.
