If you know me, you know that one of my favorite places on earth is New York City, and very specifically Central Park. I have been lucky enough now to have a number of clients who live in the city, and want to document their love there for their engagement session.
Adrienne and Mark are the kindest humans, and I have never seen such joyful people at a sunrise session. Central Park is really at its most beautiful and quiet in the early morning, and a sunrise session is always ideal to capture the first light and an empty park. Anyone who has been to Central Park knows that in a few short hours, the walkways and terraces will be teeming with tourists and hot dog carts, but at 6:00 am, it’s serene. Would you believe me if I told you I didn’t have to photoshop a single person out of these photos? (Trucks, carts, and random ladders yes, but not people!)
Adrienne and Mark captured my heart when they said they were envisioning photos at the Bethesda Terrace, Bow Bridge, and the Metropolitan Museum of Art. We strolled the park as if we were in a romantic comedy, complete with Mark looking dapper in a light gray suit, perfect for early summer, and Adrienne dazzling in a white Retrofete gown with crystal accents. To make it even more adorable, Adrienne brought their favorite pastries (of which they graciously offered us some), and we captured the two sharing breakfast on the steps of the Met. What could be more New York?
Adrienne and Mark, we adore you two so much, and cannot wait to celebrate your beautiful wedding this fall!
